  • pam, sorry about the dig about dye, coudn't resist. But that is really no excuse for ignoring the rest of my post - which, if you didn't get it, is about judging others for living differently than you do, or having different belief systems than you do.

  • fights, I don't even know who Hitchens and Dawkins are, so clearly they aren't in my face confronting me about G-d (who I believe in, by the way, and my faith in G-d is not the slightest bit hurt by the fact that not all believe in G-d).

  • Tether - Keep in mind this country was founded by Christians for Christians Just patently untrue. Many of our founding fathers had a lot of mistrust of Christianity.

  • Fights, that is absurd. I am, by the way, not an atheist, but my religion is not Christianity. I have a right to not be confronted by people telling me my religion is wrong, and my kids have a right to go to public school and not be told their religion is wrong, as well.

  • To Fights and others who believe their religion requires proselytizing is a requirement of their religion ... can you really not see how insulting it is to others to be told that your way is the "right" way and others' religious choices are "wrong"?
